Job Summary: 

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, highly organized e-commerce operations and merchandising manager. This critical role supports the day-to-day execution of our online storefront and is responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing products across Shopify and external sales channels while supporting marketing campaigns, events, and buying initiatives.

This position sits at the intersection of product data, merchandising, marketing execution, and channel compliance, ensuring our catalog is accurate, searchable, and aligned with business priorities at all times. This role reports to the Senior Director of E-Commerce.



NOTE: This is an in-office position, located in Broomfield, CO.

Role and Responsibilities:

Product Catalog Management 

As a core member of the E-commerce team, this role supports the full lifecycle of products on the site and across external channels.

  • Support product launches in Shopify, ensuring accurate pricing, attributes, imagery, navigation tags, required platform fields, and meet all of Shopify's Standard Product Taxonomy
  • Manage product updates, including pricing changes, discontinued items, description refreshes, and certification requirements. 
  • Support marketing planograms and on-site merchandising strategies
  • Partner with the Events team to build special products, bundles, and promotions for races, expos, and activations
  • Ensure product changes are reflected consistently across all channels and campaigns

Search Optimization & Discoverability

  • Ensure products appear correctly for relevant site search queries
  • Optimize product titles, descriptions, tags, and attributes to improve search relevance, discoverability, and support SEO efforts
  • Partner with the E-commerce and Marketing to identify gaps in search coverage and improve product visibility

Site Merchandising & Campaign Support

  • Deploy seasonal and weekly campaigns to support email, promotional, and on-site marketing efforts
  • Re-merchandise collections and brand pages to align with new product launches and business priorities
  • Support the Buying team by adding and maintaining SKUs in Hot Deals and promotional collections based on seasonal needs
  • Properly “Remove / Archive” products from the catalog that are no longer a priority or not moving forward
     

Channel Compliance & Maintenance

  • Maintain catalog approval and health across all sales channels, including: Shop App, Amazon, Facebook, and Google
  • Monitor and resolve catalog issues related to missing attributes, rejected products, or platform requirements

Promotions, Offers & Revenue Support

  • Upsells and post-purchase offers
  • PDP-level offers and promotions
  • Create exclusive product bundles with exclusive offers and limited and temporary visibility
  • Discount codes setup and validation (automatic discounts, Buy X Get Y, channel-specific promos, unique discount codes)
  • Seasonal sales support (BFCM, Tour events, brand/category promos for each quarter)
  • Manage multiple pricing spreadsheets provided by vendors and internal teams and accurately apply price updates in Shopify at the SKU level
  • Execute seasonal markdowns that impact only specific SKUs while preserving base pricing integrity across the broader catalog
  • Perform quality control on pricing changes to ensure accuracy, correct effective dates, and proper application across the site and supported channels
  • Validate that promotional pricing displays correctly on PDPs, collections, cart, checkout, and post-purchase experiences
  • Document all catalog updates, pricing changes, and promotional adjustments in Asana and supporting spreadsheets to maintain clear references to past promotions and changes
  • Ensure historical documentation is accurate and accessible to support reporting, audits, and future promotional planning
     

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work with cross-functional teams, including:

  • Buying Team: aligns product availability and performance 
  • Copywriting: to ensure product descriptions are clear and compelling 
  • Design: to deliver high-quality, optimized product images and product content/banners
  • Customer Support: to help resolve product availability or answer product questions
  • Marketing: to align product launches with campaign objectives 


What We Offer:
  • Salary target $105,000 - $115,000 annually depending on experience, and performance-based bonuses.
