The Feed provides athletes with the widest selection of active nutrition and healthy snacks on the market today. We use science, our experience, and advice from athletes to give our customers personalized recommendations for better nutrition. Our e-commerce platform allows customers to learn about nutrition and then build a custom box for one-time or subscription purchase.
As a High-Performance Team Manager, you’ll play a critical operational role across our sponsored athlete program (the High-Performance Team), marketing events, and community engagement. You’ll be at the heart of the action, ensuring our athletes have the support, resources, and guidance to thrive while also contributing to broader marketing initiatives.
This fast-moving, high-ownership role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment, loves endurance sports, and gets energy from keeping things running smoothly. The ideal candidate has a deep passion for sports and a strong understanding of endurance athletes—whether as a competitor themselves or through direct experience working with athletes. You’ll balance business objectives with the unique needs of high-performance athletes, all while helping to bring The Feed’s marketing activations to life.

The position is full-time in-office based in our Broomfield, Colorado office, reporting to our Senior Marketing Manager.
Primary Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Athlete Management & Sponsorship
- Build and maintain relationships with High Performance Team athletes across all endurance sports.
- Lead athlete contract negotiations and renewals in coordination with senior leadership.
- Oversee and help manage athlete onboarding experience, approvals, and sponsorship alignment.
- Conduct regular athlete check-ins to provide updates, gather feedback, and strengthen partnerships.
- Serve as a point for athlete inquiries related to contracts, compensation, credits, product, or brand expectations.
- Ensure athlete representation of The Feed aligns with brand standards, values, and contractual obligations.
- Recommend roster additions and support strategic growth of the High Performance Team.
- Travel regularly to events (ranging from approx. 1–3 events per month) to manage on-site athlete support, logistics, and media coordination.
- Program Operations & Leadership
- Own execution and health of the HPT program, including timelines, deliverables, and internal coordination.
- Oversee and help manage internal systems for athlete management, including contracts, onboarding, tracking, and reporting.
- Own HPT budgets related to travel, content creation, athlete support, and vendor partnerships.
- Branding, Content & Marketing Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to integrate athletes into campaigns across social, email, web, and paid media.
- Identify and recommend athlete-led content and partnership opportunities that support business goals.
- Oversee and help manage HPT newsletters, webinars, and athlete communications for alignment and quality.
- Monitor and guide athlete content collaborations and sponsorship activations.
- Support marketing initiatives tied specifically to athlete sponsorships and partnerships.
Essential Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience in marketing, operations, or customer experience.
- Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Strong follow-up skills; nothing slips through the cracks.
- You love lists, calendars, and knocking out checkboxes.
- Excellent communicator, both written and verbal.
- Passionate about endurance sports and curious about the world of athlete sponsorship.
- Able to juggle multiple projects and timelines with confidence.
- Willing to travel as needed to support event activations.
- Comfortable with regular domestic travel and occasional weekend work to support athlete events and activations.
Compensation:
- $70,000 - $90,000 per year based on experience
